This week in religion we read the story "Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley".
Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley are best friends but they are very different to each other. We loved thinking about who we were most like - quiet and helpful like Charlie Parsley or loud and talkative like Pearl Barley. Watch some of our videos below to find out what we decided!
Have you heard the story about the Good Shepherd??? Would you like me to tell you about it?? We think it is a special story as we believe that it teaches us how Jesus is our Shepherd and we are his sheep. He knows us all by name, he protects us and loves us just like the Good Shepherd loves and knows his sheep by name. The Good Shepherd calls his sheep and they come. They follow him and they know his voice. Jesus calls us to follow him and to listen to his voice too.
While listening to this story and discussing what special message this story has for us, we started to wonder about some questions that we had. Our teachers wrote our 'I wonder....' questions at the bottom of our illustrations of the story. Some of them are:-
